Garbage at Transfer Site
The Newberg Transfer Site and Recycling Center is located at 2904 S Wynooksi Rd in Newberg.
The Transfer site accepts commercial and residential waste from 8-5 Monday through Saturday, closed on Sunday and Holidays.
Electronics Disposal Ban
Effective January 1, 2010, all computers, TVs, laptops and monitors are banned from disposal as garbage in Oregon. Don’t place computers, monitors and TVs in your trash, recycling bin or at the curb. Electronics require special handling and cannot be collected in your regular service.

NO HAZARDOUS WASTE
This includes: Paints in liquid form, paint thinner and stripper, weed killer, pesticide, herbicide, brake fluid, gasoline, diesel fuel, antifreeze & solvents
All empty pesticide and herbicide containers must be triple rinsed before disposal.
All 25-55 gallon containers and larger must have at least one end removed for visual inspection here and at the landfill.
No medical waste or sharps accepted.

Transfer Site Rates for Garbage:
Loose Material (up to 500lbs per yard)
$12.55 (minimum) up to 1 yard
$11.95 per yard thereafter
No stumps over 2 ft in diameter
Construction Debris (up to 900 lbs per yard)
e.g. sheetrock, roofing, wood, compact materials
$18.20 per yard
Heavy Loads (over 900 lbs per yard)
e.g. rubble, dirt, concrete, asphalt, masonry, bricks
$24.70 per yard
$5.00 additional charge for all loads not covered, tarped or tied to prevent any loss of refuse in route to the Transfer Center [Yamhill County Board Order 88-290].
