Biohazardous wastes and sharps may not be disposed of in the garbage.
Newberg Garbage Service provides for the safe and proper disposal of medical waste. Medical wastes include biohazardous waste from hospitals and doctor offices, as well as used needles (called sharps). Stericycle, located in Morton, Washington, properly disposes of the materials that we collect.
Medical Waste Services for Businesses
NGS provides a commercial medical waste collection service.
Businesses are provided with a container for collection of biohazardous waste and sharps.
This service is provided every week, bi-weekly or on-call. Rates are based on volume and frequency of pickup. Please call us for current rates.

- Dentist Offices

Medical Waste Services for Households
As a service to the residential community, we offer 4.7 qt and 10 qt sharps containers. These containers are picked up and returned to our office by the customer. Payment at time of pickup is based on container size.
